ABOUT JUICY KITCHEN

Juicy Kitchen is a cozy little neighborhood cafe nestled in the Old West Side of Ann Arbor. It was lovingly founded by original owners Susan and George Todoroff in January 2013. Susan's passion for healthy eating and culinary degree from Schoolcraft College culminated into a home delivery business—thoughtfully cooked meals delivered right to your door. Her dishes were so well received by her clients that they encouraged her to open her own restaurant ... and she did just that! In 2019, after six years of successful small business ownership, the Todoroffs were ready to pass the reins. Then-front-of-the-house manager, Kelby Behan, and husband, Aaron Ziola, jumped at the opportunity and have been the proud owners ever since. They have kept all of the Juicy Kitchen menu classics the cafe is known for while also adding rotating seasonal specials and expanding the baked goods and prepared food options. Through the years and change of ownership our mission has remained the same: nurture people with healthy, creative, flavorful food prepared with love!

WHAT WE COOK

We love cooking with lots of fresh vegetables, leaning toward what's local and in season. We are constantly coming up with new specials, and the ingredients in most of our dishes change seasonally. We offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, and source our meat & dairy from local purveyors around town. Our lovely staff is always happy to accommodate food allergies. We love beans and whole grains, leafy greens and fresh fruit. At Juicy Kitchen, we consider ourselves healthy foodies!

OUR INGREDIENTS

We use locally sourced produce whenever we can, our chicken is Amish & hormone free, and we use organic vegetables and grains when feasible. We shop at the Farmer's Market, use produce from our farmer friends right down the road, and most everything is cooked from scratch. Our smoothies are made with organic fruit and sweetened only with local honey. Our baked goods are made with whole grains and natural sweeteners, like ripe bananas, and a lot of them just happen to be vegan and/or gluten free!

We cook for our guests as we cook for our families ... with love!
